AAIC Awarded Commemorative Plaque for Contributions to LARG
The annual gathering of LARG (Latin American Reinsurance Group), now celebrating its 10th birthday, was held in Guatemala at the end of August. AAIC has been involved as the leader of the non-life programs (Property Cat, Property Risk, Motor Excess, and Misc Excess) since the group's inception. AAIC was mentioned as being instrumental in the creation and continuation of these programs and presented with a commemorative plaque for our hard work.
This meeting had the largest attendance in its history with 82 delegates from the LARG companies, reinsurers, ICMIF, Willis (LARG broker), A.M. Best, as well as the Banking Superintendent of Guatemala and the President of the Guatemalan Association of Insurance Institutions. As always, the annual meeting was very beneficial for the LARG members, as well as the reinsurers.
